And I got TWO cards from Hayley and a *lovely* e-card from Adrienne (who I *have* to go see soon because it's been far far far too long).
I shouldn't judge people on whether they sent me things for my birthday. That is so shallow and stupid. I guess the fact that just four of my birthday greetings, and only one of my cards, came from non-internet people, and there were some people I thought I got on well with who don't seem to have acknowledged it at all, hurt me a little.
Or maybe they did and there's a pile of cards waiting in Cambridge. And then I will read this post back to myself and feel very crap for doubting anyone. But then, why would I believe that anyone would want to be my friend, anyway?
I've been wallowing far too much recently in my journal. I'm going to stop.
